Automotive Marketplace — B2C, B2B & Export Platform
Dubai is one of the world's largest hubs for automotive trade, but the platforms serving it are either too general or purely retail. This platform is purpose-built for dealer yards — with an export path for the international importers who buy from them.

The problem
Car yards and dealers in the UAE lack a centralised, professional digital presence for their inventory. General classifieds treat a 200-car yard the same as an individual selling one car, and retail-focused platforms have no concept of a dealer at all.
The export side is worse. Buyers in South Africa, Pakistan, Nigeria and elsewhere buy Dubai stock at volume, but the entire transaction — trust, documentation, shipping coordination — runs on WhatsApp and email with nothing tracked.
- Yards have no self-service way to publish and maintain inventory at scale.
- International buyers face real trust and transparency problems buying a vehicle they cannot inspect.
- Export documentation and shipping coordination have no integrated digital workflow.
- B2B deals between yards and export agents are handled manually, with no record and no tracking.
The approach
The platform is designed as one inventory with three audiences reading it differently, rather than three products sharing a database. A listing is a single record; what a retail buyer, a dealer and a verified importer see of it differs by policy.
Export readiness is modelled as a property of the listing rather than a separate catalogue, which is what lets a yard publish once and reach both markets without maintaining duplicate stock.
- Modelled distinct user types — yard/dealer, private seller, retail buyer, verified importer, admin — with capabilities per type.
- Designed listing ingestion for volume: bulk upload for large yards, guided single-listing flow for private sellers.
- Made export readiness and its document requirements part of the listing model from the start.
- Planned search around faceted filtering first, with natural-language query as a layer over the same index rather than a separate path.
What we are building
A multi-sided marketplace with a dealer portal, a buyer experience, a B2B export module and the admin tooling to police all three.
- Listing and inventory management — multi-photo upload with compression and watermarking, walk-around video, detailed vehicle specification, and bulk CSV/Excel import for large yards.
- Advanced faceted search across make, model, year, price, mileage, body type, fuel type and location, with side-by-side comparison and saved searches with alerts.
- Natural-language search layered over the same index, so "red BMW under 50k AED" resolves to the same filters a power user would set by hand.
- Dealer portal — branded business profile, inventory panel with per-listing views and inquiries, lead tracking, subscription and billing history, performance reporting.
- B2B export module — export-ready tagging, destination and quantity inquiry, document request workflow for title, export certificate and deregistration letter, and buyer verification before wholesale terms are exposed.
- Buyer tooling — wishlist, dealer messaging, price alerts, comparison and an informational finance calculator.
- Valuation helper giving sellers an indicative market value pre-listing and buyers a fairness check on asking price.
- Payments for listing fees, featured placement and subscriptions, with reservation deposits handled separately from vehicle price.
- Admin console for user, listing, payment and featured-ad management with moderation queues.

Where it stands
The platform is in active build. Architecture, data model and the dealer-side inventory experience are defined; the export module is what makes it structurally different from a general classifieds site, and it is specified end to end.
This entry is published as in-build rather than delivered. It will be updated with production outcomes at launch.
Multi-Product Inventory & Procurement System
Multi-warehouse stock, purchase orders and supplier pricing unified into one ledger with approval workflows.
Document Intelligence & Natural-Language Search
A retrieval layer that reads operational paperwork and answers questions about it with citations back to the source page.
